Niacinamide:

At the cleansing step, niacinamide adds the melanin transfer inhibition mechanism that vitamin C and alpha arbutin do not cover — reducing how much produced melanin becomes visible at the skin surface. Licorice Extract:

A natural brightening and anti-inflammatory active that reduces redness, calms post-acne inflammation, and contributes to overall even tone.
